Potential Badboy is without a doubt an absolute Jungle BADBOY. Synonymous with DJ Hype’s infamous Playaz imprint, we can never forget Potential’s roots as one of the true pioneers of Jungle. Consistently cited by many heavyweight industry insiders as a key player, not only in Jungle’s curation, but instrumental in its development and progression, Potential has proven to be one of the biggest unsung Jungle heroes of our time.

Super-humble, and not one for the limelight, Potential’s incredible skills has lead him to produce for the likes of Mary J Blige and Nelly, and is responsible for much of Playaz Records relentless output – Potential’s unmistakable production has always leant towards the more soulful and vocal side, infused with his trademark ragga-tinged basslines and intelligent Jungle breaks with the single purpose of creating a deep vibe.

The likes of certified bangers such as You’re Mine, Brok Wild, and of course Girlz – Potentials career is going through a resurgence with his successful residencies at Fabric and Jungle Jam paying massive dividends.
